Puppies are coming!

It is now about 56 days..............I tried to take Tess's temperature to see if she is going to have them within 24 hours and I had a tough time getting her to cooperate letting me stick the digital in her back end! After several attempts at her trying to sit on it - I gave up. I don't think she will have them tonight unless the process of getting her temp upset the applecart! She is getting huge! She actually looks like a mare ready to have a colt from the front view. She must have several in there. At any rate, I have the kennel ready with everything but the diet coke and some puppy formula. Last time the whelping process took all night.



Rod just came in from moving pipe from up in the hayfield. JJ and Mckay are on a "High Adventure" and Rod thinks we are on vacation! He said I just threw him under bus by not going up and helping him............by the way it's 10:23 pm. I told Rod I was thinking of going to see my girls or my sisters and he said I was already on vacation being here at the ranch without the boys and with HIM!
