It's been way too long. More puppies have been born and sold, water is in the canal, sports are done for the school year, only 16 days left of school and it's going by too quickly! Each day Mckay and JJ come home from school and gallop 6-12 horses around our race track to keep them fit. (the horses!) The boys have become great riders. I need to upload a picture of them. I am so proud of them. They are great sons. They are being true to all things they are being intrusted.

If you look real closely you will find 4 HYDE boys among the champion team of Flag Football. They were excited to be champs!!

TEN Puppies!!!

Last night we came home to check the kennel before bed. Tess came out to great me and I was sad that she was not in labor. The reason being is she had already delivered 10 puppies! We have 6 black, 1 yellow and 2 white with a total of 8 boys and 2 girls. Well I never! What's up with all the boys? The females are a yellow and a black. They are hungry and have squeaky little voices. JoBeth helped me with the upkeep. We went to bed after 2:30 am and got up for a feeding at 4:30 and 7:00 am. They are getting the hang of it.........if you catch my drift!

It is now about 56 days..............I tried to take Tess's temperature to see if she is going to have them within 24 hours and I had a tough time getting her to cooperate letting me stick the digital in her back end! After several attempts at her trying to sit on it - I gave up. I don't think she will have them tonight unless the process of getting her temp upset the applecart! She is getting huge! She actually looks like a mare ready to have a colt from the front view. She must have several in there. At any rate, I have the kennel ready with everything but the diet coke and some puppy formula. Last time the whelping process took all night.

Rod just came in from moving pipe from up in the hayfield. JJ and Mckay are on a "High Adventure" and Rod thinks we are on vacation! He said I just threw him under bus by not going up and helping him............by the way it's 10:23 pm. I told Rod I was thinking of going to see my girls or my sisters and he said I was already on vacation being here at the ranch without the boys and with HIM!
